Burg-manager rpm version

Burg-manager is avaible for Ubuntu and derivated distros and for Archlinux. Now we are looking for someone who wants to collaborate to create a rpm version of Burg-manager adapting bash script to run it correctly on Mandriva, OpenSuse … If you wanna collaborate please contact us. Buc rpm version for Mandriva already exist and you can find it here.

We want also to add burg-manager on launchpad ppa repository, but we don’t know how to correctly create sources to meet the requirements of Launchpad so they can be packaged directly online. In this way we can take advantage of the wide band for download and the other launchpad benefits. You someone is able to explain it to us please contact me using contact form.

If there is someone that is able to add UTF-8 support to buc please contact us.

Released Burg-manager 1.1.0

Today we have released version 1.1.0 of burg-manager. Between noteworthy changes we can quote:

- fixed script to add menuentry relative to iso to boot to 50_iso file

- added separated burg installer script

If you want to install burg-manager 1.1.0 you can follow this tutorial.

If you want to update from burg-manager 1.0.0 to version 1.1.0 you can use the updater that you can find into “info” tab of burg-manager.

As soon as possible will be released also gambas porting of burg-manager.

Released Burg-manager for Archlinux

I’m happy to announce that thanks to Cruznick now is avaible a Burg-Manager version for Archlinux.

There are two way to install it: directly from Aur using a package manager like yaourt, clyde, packer or by repository:

Installation from Aur

$ yaourt -S burg-manager

Installation from repository

Cruznick has created a repository on Dropbox so all you need to do is:

1. Edit file pacman.conf

$ sudo $YOUR_EDITOR /etc/pacman.conf

2. Add the following lines depending on the architecture of your processor:

For X86-64

[Burg-x86-64]

Server = http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11529444/x86_64/

For i686

[Burg-i686]

Server = http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11529444/i686/

3 Aggiornare e installare

$ sudo pacman -Syu

$ sudo pacman -S burg-manager

Cruznick is working on burg-manager version for Archlinux. If you want to collaborate you can find sources into its git repository:

https://github.com/cruznick/arch-burg-manager

To clone sources from git repository (after git installation) you have to execute:

git clone https://github.com/cruznick/arch-burg-manager.git burg-manager

Here you can find patches:

To clone pathes folder (after git installation) you have to execute:

git clone https://github.com/cruznick/patches.git patches

Rilasciato Burg-manager per Archlinux

Sono lieto di annunciarvi che grazie a Cruznick è ora disponibile la versione del Burg-Manager nativa per Archlinux.

Ci sono due modi per installarlo: direttamente tramite Aur sfruttando dei gestori di pacchetti come yaourt, clyde, packer oppure tramite repository:

Installazione tramite Aur

$ yaourt -S burg-manager

Installazione tramite repository

Cruznick ha creato un repository su Dropbox in questo modo tutto quello che bisogna fare è:

1. Editare il file pacman.conf

$ sudo $tuoeditor /etc/pacman.conf

2. Aggiungere le seguenti righe a seconda dell’architettura del vostro processore:

Para X86-64

[Burg-x86-64]

Server = http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11529444/x86_64/

Para i686

[Burg-i686]

Server = http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11529444/i686/

3 Aggiornare e installare

$ sudo pacman -Syu

$ sudo pacman -S burg-manager

Cruznick si sta occupando della versione per Archlinux. Se avete voglia di collaborare esistono dei repository git nei quali potete trovare i sorgenti:

Per clonare i sorgenti dal repository git (dopo aver installato git) vi basta eseguire:

git clone https://github.com/cruznick/arch-burg-manager.git burg-manager

Le patch le trovate invece qui:

Per clonare anche questa cartella eseguite (sempre dopo aver installato git)

git clone https://github.com/cruznick/patches.git patches

- added some bugfixes

- added croatian and romanian localization

-added some new themes
